Today I would like to announce an Idea I’ve had, doesn’t mean it’s a good one, maybe a thought for further discussion.
As you know the rental business is self funded and all profits go into buying new (used) sets and expanding the rental variety and availability. Based on some immediate feedback in the survey, I can report an extra Diagon Alley set was found & bought the next day and shipped out yesterday. This set was in demand and booked out for the next 3 months it seemed.
Your feedback has mentioned some individual sets many would like to rent, we just need to buy them and I appreciate that can seem a slow process.
I have wondered if those able and interested may wish to help facilitate more sets being bought and buy NEW Investment Vouchers.
These are special in that they are offered at discounted rates 10 – 20% for a start, higher values can be considered and are valid to be used against the rental rate only. Extras, as they are at cost service like shipping and rebagging are not included.
This helps, the voucher to go further and I could go shopping for the high value sets requested. Some may be new when bought as used examples are few and far between at the moment.
As an added investor bonus, this person can join me to decide which set to buy, will get 1st refusal to hire said set, possibly building it from new and I’d also throw in 2 weeks free rental on that set. (exl. shipping etc.) (Just came to me whislt typing this)
Investment Vouchers are now available in the Vouchers category to be found under “Store Pickup”. This is of course a voluntary and anonymous undertaking unless, you’d like to be announced as the Sponsor of said set, which we can also do.
1st results:
- 1 more Diagon Alley was sourced and is already on it’s way to 1st hiree.
- 1 Investment Voucher was sold and I’m actively looking for Gringotts Bank or similar, there’s been a lot of great suggestions
- Refer-a-Friend has been born and is as follows: for every referral the referer and referee will receive a free weeks rental. Book 3 weeks for the price of 2. The referee can use this immediately, the referer can use this on a future rental. The referred by field has been made mandatory for this. This is live starting today.
- The upside for all of you regrds the above is that with more investments and more referrals/hires, you are enabling me to purchase more sets so you can keep building to your hearts content, saving you £hundreds if not £thousands if you were buying the sets.

I do not take any money out, the business pays local Radio advertising on Central Radio North West, half page ad in Blocks Magazine, 5 weekly posts that will now be sent to local FB groups on their business days plus money left over buys additional sets.
